Former LED ZEPPELIN Singer To Tour U.S. This Summer

Former LED ZEPPELIN frontman Robert Plant will be touring this summer with another high-profile artist, according to Billboard.com. More information will be made available soon.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Plant spoke about "Mighty Rearranger", his first album of original material in twelve years. Due May 10 via Sanctuary Records, the CD is described as "a formidable mix of tribal beats, bluesy guitar crescendos and mystical balladry." Commented the singer: "I've really always had an idea to develop this melange of North African music and the Plant side of LED ZEP — to push the two together. But there's as much RONI SIZE and PORTISHEAD on this album as there is ZEPPELIN."
